KEBGIS pledges N1 billion revenue

The Kebbi State Geographic Information Service ( KEBGIS) has pledged to align with the Kebbi State Government Comrade  Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu to boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR)

KEBGIS General Manager,  ESV Bashiru Saidu Bakuwai made the pledge at a Press briefing held in his office at GRA Birnin Kebbi

Bakuwai who was recently confirmed alongside  other senior chief executives by Governor,  Nasir Idris expressed his appreciation on their behalf to the governor for this recognition and opportunity to serve the good people of Kebbi State under His Excellency’s guidance.

He called on other confirmed colleagues  across the various parastatals to extend their loyalty and support to Kaura led administration in the state.

 ” This is a time for all of us to work together, leveraging our individual and collective capacities to ensure the success of GovernorbNasir Idris transformational leadership in Kebbi “

 GM said.

On the improvement of IGR, the GM said his agency is targeting N1 billion in revenue generation in 2025 which according to him,  already has realised N25 million which showed that the target would be meet up or even exceeded.

He noted that since  he became GM of KEBGIS there was series of staff meetings aimed at devising innovative strategies to improve the IGR in 2025.

 The KEBGIS helmsman further informed the general public that his agency is responsible among other critical functions generation and issuance of certificates of occupancy for regular, recertification, regularization,and systematic property registration.
