The Emir of Katsina (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman has turban Dr.Musa Abdu Dankama as Gwanturakin Katsina.
The ceremony was formally conducted by the Emir on Saturday 28th September, 2024 at his palace in Katsina.
Dr. Musa Abdu Dankama now became the 2nd Gwanturakin Katsina after Kaura Amah who was the 1st Gwanturakin Katsina (Great Warrior) as District Head of Dankama in 1903 when Dankama was a Chiefdom under Katsina territory.
A former Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Dr. Musa Abdu Dankama a member of the clan of Great Warrior Kaura Amah successfully inherited the throne, though Dankama had now been subjected to Village Head position entitled Sarkin Fulani Dankama.
Those that witnessed the ceremony include members of the State Executive Council and all members of Kaura Amah lineage, friends and well wishers.
Sarkin Sullubawan Katsina District Head of Kaita alongside his Village Heads also witnessed the ceremony.
