The Chairman of Association of Local Government in Nigeria (ALGON) Kebbi State chapter and the Sole Administrator of Birnin Kebbi local government council, Alhaji Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa has said that ” Kauran Gwandu, Dr Nasir Idris, Governor of Kebbi State is sent by God to save the people of the state “
He added that the patriotic people of Kebbi State must thank Almighty Allah for having Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu as the Governor of Kebbi State because he make Kebbi state capital to answer its name (Birnin Kebbi).
The Chairman made this remarks when he addressed joint urnalists in his office in Birnin Kebbi.
Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa who was the APC flag bearer in the forthcoming Local government election in Birnin Kebbi local government said he came out to contest in the polls in order to contribute his vast experiences having worked in different disciplines in local government administration to move Birnin Kebbi local government and the state forward.
He said ” I have 35 years in local government service and obtained all my qualifications in local government administration and I think, there is the need to contribute both of these my knowledge and experience together in the development of local government administration and Kebbi State as whole.
On the recent flagged off of distribution of Fertilizer free to farmers by the governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu , the ALGON chairman explained that the governor has instructed them to share the bags of Fertilizer to all polling units across the state so that it reaches to those who voted the present government of the state.
According to him, 35 bags of Fertilizer was instructed by the governor to be given to each 3, 745 polling units in the 21 local government areas of the state.
He noted that Birnin Kebbi local government has the highest number with 345 polling units.
He said that the governor warned them that, any local government aspirant who refused to comply with the sharing formula of the fertiliser will be disqualified before the election.
