There are reports that the suspended minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu,has been given cleared the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC of fraud allegations.
A renown Nigerian journalist Rufai Oseni was reported saying in a post on his social media handle on Thursday.that the anti-draft agency is expected to make an official announcement soon.

Edu was suspended following allegations of her involvement in a N585 million fraud. She was accused of attemptibg to transfer N585 million, designated for social intervention programs, into a private account.
Iseni wrote on X, “I can confidently tell you that EFCC has cleared her just waiting for official announcement The money recovered and the figure being bandied around are recovered loots from the Humanitarian Ministry probe which involves a lot of person and even former minister
