The Member representing Matazu local government in Katsina State House of Assembly Hon. Ibrahim Dikko Matazu has urged Muslim Ummah to imbibe the spirit of togetherness and love as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The lawmaker made the call in his Sallah Message, emphasising the need for people to reflect on the Islamic teaching.
He charged Muslims to be tolerant and conduct themselves accordingly by respecting the rule of law for the state and the country to be peaceful and prosperous.
While congratulating the Muslim Ummah for the completion of fasting in the blessed month of Ramadan and Eid-el-Fitr celebration, Hon. Dikko enjoined people to be dedicated and pray for the peaceful coexistence of the country.
As a state lawmaker, he pledged to his constituents of his readiness to ensure good representation by protecting their interests at the State House of Assembly.
He therefore expressed the hope that the insecurity bedeviling the state and the country at large will be curbef within a short period.
