The sum of ₦532,427,977.58K for the constitution of 132 classrooms at different Islamiyya Schools across 30 constituencies has been approved by the Jigawa State Government.
This was disclosed by theJigawa State Commissioner of Information, Hon Sagir Musa while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the state executive council meeting.
Hon Musa explained that 66 two classroom blocks will be constructed under the 2024 Sate Constituency projects.
The commissioner noted that the construction of Islamiyya classroom is part of the state government effort to promote true religious teaching, inculcate moral discipline, sense of humanity and fear of God in the minds of young generation.
He added that, the availability of such schools will also help in tackling high rate of out of school children and Almajiri syndrome in the state
