Farmers in Kaduna State have been urged to be patient with the government of Sen Uba Sani in addressing issues of agriculture in the state
The charge eas made by the General Manager, Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency. KADA, Hon Muhammad Rilli after receiving an award of excellence from Arewa Publishers Forum in his office, Wednesday in Kaduna.
Hon Muhammad said his agency is working hard with the Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture and other agencies to ensure farmers benefit from the various interventions meant to improve agricultural output and key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu towards food security in Nigeria
He said Gov Uba Sani’s policies are centered on rural development and agriculture, being the preoccupation of majority of Kaduna State residents, is attracting serious attention if the government.
It is therefore imperative for all to join hands with government of Kaduna State to realise the lofty goals of not only providing sufficient food to the family but also making agriculture an economic enterprise.
Reacting on the award, Hon Muhammad said he was humbled and encouraged to put more efforts towards the goal of better agricultural development in Kaduna State.
The award presentation ceremony also witness the presentation of award to the Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Prof Benjamin Kumai Gugong, Jagaban Kagoro who received an award of merit from the forum.
The forum also honoured Hon Sa’idu Idris Dibis, the Special Assistant to Governor Uba Sani on Youth and Sports Development
In his speech earlier, the President of the forum. (Dr) Sani Mohammed Garba said the awards were in recognition of performances of the awardees in their areas of assignments.
