Matawalle Visits Zamfara For 3-Day Political Engagement

The Minister of Defence State, Bello Mohammed Matawalle plans to visit Zamfara for a three days to engage with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

This was contained in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau, which was made available to newsmen in Gusau on Saturday.

He said, the party invited all party members and supporters to come out en-mass to receive the Minister from 2 pm on Thursday at Kotarkwashi of Bungudu Local Government area of the state.

“The APC under the leadership of Hon Tukur Umar Danfulani invites all party members, supporters, and admirers to turn out en-mass and receive the honourable minister from 2 pm at Kotarkwashi area of Bungudu Local Government Area of the state.

“While in the state, the minister will meet with the party members to be supported by all former Governors, Deputy Governors and other leaders at his residence in Gusau.”

According to the statement, on Friday, the party leaders will lead a stakeholders meeting at the state APC state secretariat, opposite Maigoro filling station bye-pass Gusau.

“Similarly, on Saturday 15th November, 2025 the minister will proceed to his Maradun to continue meeting with party and family members,” the statement said.

Idris also called on all the APC members and Supporters to be law abiding and of good conduct throughout the outlined programme and beyond.

“While we seek for the full cooperation of security agencies for a smooth outing, we strongly implore our members and supporters to as usual, be law abiding and of good conduct throughout the outlined programme and beyond.

“Be warned also that no weapon of any type is allowed to be carried by anyone, therefore, be watchful against spoilers who may seize the opportunity to bring negative impact on the visit”, the statement concluded.
