.The Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’ikamatul Sunn ah has been commended for its achievements in moral and educational uplifment of its followers and in the areas of collaboration with federal government agencies to further entrench peace and harmony.
The commendation was given by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the official launching of ‘Where I Stand” a book written by Sheikh Abubakar Mamud Gumi, translated by Dr Ibrahim Jalo Jalingo held in Kaduna recently.
President Bola Tinubu who was represented by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State assured his continued support in different areas to the Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa Ikamatul Sunnah in view of its laudable contributions in promoting peace and harmony amongst the populace
He said while he has held the late Sheikh Abubakar Gumi in high esteem describes his scholarly works and Islamic teachings as a source of inspiration which would continue to linger in the mind of Nigerians.

In his remarks Governor Uba Sani described the late Sheikh as a public intellectual of repute, outstanding cleric, phillartrophist, courageous and highly dependable, who speak truth to power during his life time.
In an Interview with newsmen the National Chairman of the Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’ikamatul Sunnah Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau said the Organization had recorded a lot success which include the realization of about 179 million naira generated from the sale of animal skin denoted by its followers nationwide during last Eidl Kabir period, with highest donation from Kaduna state followed by Kebbi and Sokoto state.
