Russia bombards Ukraine seat of piwer

The Ukraine war with Russia is escalating as. Russia launched its largest aerial offensive against Ukraine early Sunday.

The strike was in  central Kyiv and igniting a fire at the Ukrainian cabinet headquarters.

 Authorities confirmed that the overnight bombardment resulted in at least six fatalities and numerous injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported a massive blaze engulfing the top of the Cabinet of Ministers building in Kyiv, with helicopters seen attempting to douse the flames. Emergency services confirmed multiple high-rise buildings were also damaged by drone strikes.

The Ukrainian Air Force stated that Russia deployed a record-breaking 810 drones and 13 missiles during the assault. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack as a deliberate attempt to prolong the war, accusing Russia of obstructing any chance of diplomatic resolution.

“This aggression is not just destruction—it’s a strategic move to delay peace and deepen the suffering of our people,” Zelensky said in a public statement.

Russia claimed responsibility for striking Ukrainian “military-industrial and transport infrastructure,” but did not acknowledge the direct hit on the government building
