The District Head of Ketare in Kankara Local Government, Kanwan Katsina the Third, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, mni, has continued to receive a flood of goodwill messages on the occasion of his 68th birthday, which he marked on the 1st of September, 2025.
The latest among the pack of felicitations was the General Manager of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA Katsina, Malam Muhammad Lawan Baba, who personally signed and conveyed his birthday wishes to the Kanwan Katsina on behalf of himself, the management, and the entire staff of NTA Katsina.
In his congratulatory letter, Malam Muhammad Lawan Baba described the royal father as “a distinguished and patriotic leader, widely regarded as a Builder of Humanity.”
Similarly, the General Manager of Katsina State Radio, Alhaji Attahiru Lawal Bakori, also sent his heartfelt felicitations, extolling the sterling qualities of the Kanwan Katsina and his unwavering service to humanity.
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina State Council, under the leadership of Comrade Hassan Tukur Dan Ali, joined in the celebrations, praying for long life, sound health, and continued wisdom for the revered traditional ruler.
In the same vein, the Ketare Youth Development Association, KEDAMA, felicitated with the District Head, describing him as a role model, mentor, and father whose generosity and concern for the younger generation remain unmatched.
Also sending their goodwill were the Association of Alumni of the National Institute (AANI), graduates of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Class of 1981, Customs officers of the 1982 intake, and the Government Secondary School Malumfashi Old Boys Association, who passed through the school between 1970 and 1974.
The groups unanimously described the Kanwan Katsina as a bridge builder whose life of service, humility, and dedication to the community has continued to inspire many within and beyond Katsina State.
