The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has zoned its presidential ticket for 2027 election to Southern Nigeria
The decision was announced by
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba while addressing journalists shortly after the National Executive Committee meeting of the party, Monday.
The PDP said it took the decision following the presentation of a report by the Zoning Committee chaired by Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri.
It further disclosed that the party also retained the existing National Working Committee zoning formula for the November elective convention.
The party’s publicity secretary said, ”NEC recommended that the North and South should retain their current NWC positions.
