The Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to executing quality projects that would have direct bearing to lives of the common people.
Speaking during an inspection tour of projects on Friday in Birnin Kebbi, the governor said his administration remained a people oriented government that always has its people, especially the masses at heart.
He explained that political criticism by the opposition parties would not deter his government from delivering the needed dividends of democracy to the good people of Kebbi State.
The governor, who visited some of the completed and ongoing projects expressed satisfaction with the contractors handling the projects.
“I am satisfied with the Ministry of Higher Education for their supervision of the new extension of College of Nursing and Midwifery in Ambursa, suburb of Birnin Kebbi as well as the Mega School which stands at about 70 per cent completion.
“I want to use this medium to debunk the criticism of some opposition, who are telling journalists that I did not do any project in the state that you people can testify and see the projects physically spread across the state,” he said.
The governor, who said that he relied on God Almighty, who gives power to those He pleases and take it from those He pleases, insisting that his victory “is in the hands of God Almighty and nobody has the power to change it.
“I am confident that it’s the same God that will support me to victory in the 2027 general elections.”
