The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that its elective national convention will take place on November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The decision was announced at its National Executive Committee (NEC) by Debo Ologunagba, the party’s National Publicity Secretary in Abuja.while addressing journalists shortly after the NEC meeting.
He noted that the decision was taken after extensive deliberations aimed at ensuring a seamless leadership transition in the party.
Ologunagba also revealed that the NEC approved the formation of a National Convention Committee and a Zoning Committee to ensure transparency and adherence to the party’s internal democratic processes
