The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Umar Ganduje has resigned with immediate effect.

Ganduje, a former Governor of Kano State, attributed his resignation to health-related issues, saying he wants to focus on his personal well-being.

However, party insiders suggest that mounting political pressure and internal unrest may have played a role in his decision.

Additionally, there are reports linking his departure to allegations of financial misconduct, with some APC members reportedly voicing concerns over what they described as “excessive financial demands” from his office.

His resignation comes at a pivotal moment for the ruling party, which is gearing up for its national convention slated for December
