The appointment if Barr Ibrahim Shehu Shema as Managing Director of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) by President Bola Tinubu has been commended.
The commendation was made by the Sarkin Gobir of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Yakubu Garba Gobir in a statement he issued on Saturday, expressing delight that President Tinubu’s choice of the former governor aligns with his administration’s hallmark of putting the right people at the right place,, saying it will bring the needed transformation in the FCT.
Gobir, who is also the Wazirin Kasar Hausa, saId he was delighted with the appointment as it aligned with President Tinubu’s administration hallmark of putting the right people at the right place.
Recall that in one of the latest appointments made by President Tinubu, Shema, the former governor of Katsina State was made the Chairman of FCDA.
Gobir noted that considering Shema’s remarkable service as Governor of Katsina State, coupled with his traditional roles and contributions to the grassroot communities, he was uniquely positioned to bring transformative leadership to the FCDA.
