FAAC distribution increases with N103 billion

The Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC has recorded an increase of N103 billion revenue  compared to the N1.578 trillion shared in March 2025.

FAAC, has distributed the sum of N1.681 trillion as revenue generated in April 2025 to the Federal, States, and Local Governments across  the country.

In the communiqué issued at the end of the FAAC meeting in Abuja on Friday, the total distributable revenue for April 2025 comprised statutory revenue amounting to N962.882 billion, Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N598.077 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N38.862 billion, and Exchange Difference of N81.407 billion.

In the sharing formula, the Federal Government, FG, got a total of N565.307 billion from the allocation, all the 36 states in the country collectively received N556.741 billion, while Local Government Councils were allocated N406.627 billion.

An additional N152.553 billion was distributed to oil-producing states as 13 percent derivation from mineral revenue.

FAAC further said a gross total revenue of N2.848 trillion was available in the month of April.

It added that deductions were made amounting to N101.051 billion for the cost of revenue collection and N1.066 trillion for statutory transfers, refunds, interventions, and savings
