The Katsina State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has flagged off the disbursement of cash assistance to the 102 victims of fire disaster in Katsina State
In his remark as ALGON Representatives, Hon. Miqdad of Katsina Local Government Council appreciates the gesture to the victims.
On behalf of the 34 LGCs, I extend our heartfelt appreciations to His Excellency the Governor of Katsina State, Mal. Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, CON for given SEMA all the necessary support needed to carry out its constitutionally assigned responsibilities which is to assist victims of natural disaster and calls for the people of Katsina to continue praying for the Governor as reciprocal of the kind gesture done to them.
Hon. Isah Miqdad concludes by reminding on the beneficiaries to note that the money given to them is not to compensate them for the losses they suffered, but rather to support them to alleviate their suffering and calls for them to effectively utilize it properly.
