Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has charged privileged members of the society to show compassion and generosity to the less privileged in the society.

He gave the charge in his Easter message ond called for greater acts of charity towards the vulnerable, underserved, and displaced persons.

Governor Sani emphasized that the season of Easter, which commemorates the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ, should inspire individuals and communities to look beyond themselves and extend kindness to those in need.

“Let us not forget those who are less fortunate,” he said, urging faith-based organizations, community leaders, and citizens to “share a meal, offer counsel, and extend a helping hand.”

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and human-centered development, noting that no community in Kaduna State would be left behind. He further stressed that unity and diversity remain the strength of the state, calling on citizens to promote peace and harmony.

Senator Sani also used the opportunity to call for prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he continues to steer the nation through economic reforms. “The President needs your understanding, support, and prayers,” he noted.

While wishing all Christians in the state a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration, he urges them to let the values of love, sacrifice, and forgiveness guide their actions
