Emie Aminu Ado Bayero has announced this cancellation of his planned Sallah durbar celebration at the rnd of Ramadan fast.
He announced the cancellation during a press briefing at his palace, explaining security concerns as reasons for suspending the eid el fitr Sallah durbar arrangements.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero added that the Durbar celebration is not a do or die situation with us as the peaceful coexistence of the people is much paramount to us than anything.
The Emir, noted that he had to cancel the Sallah Dubar due to the efforts of respected Islamic Clerics, elders, stakeholders, as well as his council members who prevailed on him to do so in the interest of peace.
He called on the people in the state to use the period of Sallah celebration instead to visit families and friends with the opportunity of witnessing the Sallah celebration.
