PCRC support families of fallen heroes in Kebbi

The State Command of Police Community Relation Committee, PCRC, has distributed food items to one hundred families of deceased Police officers as Ramadan palliative in Kebbi State

Speaking during the distribution which held at Police Barracks Birnin Kebbi, the wife of the State Commissioner of Police who doubled as POWA Chairperson, Hajiya Balkisu Muh’d Sani commended the foresight of PCRC for supporting the families of the deceased Police officers who loss their lives while in active service.

Hajiya Balkisu muh’d Sani assured that the police command under the leadership of CP M. Sani would step in to support and expand gesture in future editions.

She used the medium and called on wealthy individual in the society to support the orphans, especially in the month of Ramadan for bountiful reward, calling on PCRC to continue with the good work.

Earlier, the State Chairperson, Police Community Relation Committee, PCRC, Dr.  Saratu Mohammad Mera said the essence of distributing the food items to widows, was to show appreciation to the police officers on the role they play in maintaining law and order during their live time.

Dr. Saratu said late police officers make alot of sacrifice while in active service and  the family showed their recilliance.

The PCRC State Chairperson explained that the purpose of the organization was to promote the activities of Police and render support to the families of the deceased officers to become useful members of the society.

In her remark, the PCRC Deputy Coordinator in charge of North, Hajiya Rafa’atu Noma Hammani urged widows to use the Palliatives provided to  them by PCRC wisely for the purpose it was meant for.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, a widow, Hauwa Yusuf thanked PCRC for the gesture, prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
