AGILE begins training facilitators

Alim & Associates Ltd. has begun  training programme to equip facilitators with the necessary pre-requisites for the successful implementation of the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment)  projet.

The training which took place at Alim & Associates Ltd conference hall in Kaduna had gathering of participants with professional reputes.

Addressing the participants, the Managing Director/CEO of Alim & Associates Ltd., Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf charged participants to make the best use of the opportunity to equip themselves as the company has provided them with one of the best hands to educate them on how to go about the task ahead.

“You are going to be a trainer of the School Base Management Committee (SBMC). So, if you don’t know what the SBMC entails, the manual content, what you are going to do, how are you going to train them?”

He wished them the best and utmost dedication towards the actualization of goals and objectives of the project.

Speaking, the resource person, Professor Adeyemo Isaiah Adeyemi world bank training consultant thanked the management of Alim & Associates Ltd and everyone for the warm welcome accorded him..

Giving an overview of the AGILE project and expectations as individuals towards its successful implementation he emphasised the need for hands to be on deck.

Earlier, in his address, the Coordinator of the training, Engr. Afiz Abdulwahab urged the participants to give their maximum cooperations so as to succeed in the discharge of their duties.

The first day of the training ended on a satisfactory note with the resource person commending participants for making it a participatory session.

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) is a

program designed to improve education, empowerment, and opportunities for

adolescent girls between the ages of 18 – 25, particularly in developing

countries. It aims to reduce barriers to education, enhance skills development, and promotes gender equality.

The Project comprises three components aimed at keeping girls in schools and provides opportunities for them to acquire education and life skills
