Kebbi speaker commends Gov Nasir Idris

The Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon Muhammed Usman Zuru has extended his deepest appreciation to Governor Nasir Idris for his untiring efforts  for awarding the construction of the Koko-Mahuta-Dabai road which was abandoned by the federal government.

This commendation was contained in a statement he signed personally and issued to journalists at the weekend in Birnin Kebbi.

The speaker said he was aware of governor’s concerns  and his up and down in ensuring the neglected road was put in good shape where motorists and other commuters will enjoy the dividends of democracy of Kaura led administration in Zuru.

He added that the construction of the 87 kilometres road from Koko junction to Dabai in Zuru local government will undoubtedly address decades- long challenges in transportation, trade and, communication as well as boosting agricultural productivity and other economic transactions in the area and Kebbi State.

Hon Usman Zuru noted that the construction work which is vital artery if, completed will connects Zuru emirate and its environ in terms of fostering economic activities and improving access to essential services.

While commending the efforts of Governor Nasir Idris for signing the award of contract for the road,  the Speaker said the people of Zuru emirate will ever remain grateful to Kaura led administration in bringing development across the state.
