The Isa Kaita College of Education, Dutsinma has celebrated four principal officers for their immune contribution to the college.
The Principal Officers left the service of College after attaining retirement age or tenure expiration. Among the celebrants are Dr. Maigari Abdu who served as the College Provost, Alh. Salisu Gide, former, Registrar. Alh. Aliyu Galadima Danladi, former Bursar, and Alh. Ahmad Tijjani Abdulkadir who served as the internal Auditor.
The ceremony took place in the College Council Chamber on Monday 16th December, 2024 where awards were presented to the principal officers in recognition of the services they rendered.
The Provost, Dr Isma’ima Ado Funtua, represented by the Deputy Provost, Dr. Buhari Abdulkarim, extolled the virtues of the celebrants and their immense contributions to the development of the College. He particularly, appreciated the sterling leadership qualities of the former Provost, Dr. Maigari, under which, tremendous achievements were recorded in the College.
Present at the ceremony were the Acting Registrar Usman Datin, the Acting College Librarian, Umar Mukhtar, the College Bursar, Lawal Atiku Yusuf, the College Nursing Officer, Maryam K. Sani, Director of Works Engr. Ubale Suleiman, Chairman SERVICOM Bashir Aliyu, Director MIS Ismaila Bello, the Establishment Secretary, Mukhtar Balangoggo, Academic Secretary Muhd Nuraddeen Garba, Chairman COEASU Dr. Garba Yargamji, Chairman NASU Muntari Abdullahi, Director Quality Assurance Dr. Dahiru Bawa and other Members of the Management.
In response, one of the recipients on behalf of the others, thanked the College for organising such a great occasion for them. He further advised other staff currently in service to be dedicated and committed to their jobs and prayed for successful service years for all staff in the College.
