The Katsina State Department of Girl Child Education and Child Development has received a donation of Five Laptop Computers from Finpact Development Foundation (FINDEF).
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Department, the Special Adviser on Girl Child Education and Child Development, Hajiya Jamila Abdu Mani stated that the donation of the facilities will go along way in ensuring effective Service Delivery in the Department.
The Special Adviser represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Department,Alhaji Aminu Badru added that the donation of the computers would no doubt enhance productivity, effectiveness and efficiency in the discharge of the Department’s activities.
Hajiya Jamila Mani expressed her appreciation to the Executive Governor, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda for his unwavering commitment and support rendering to the department to achieve it’s mandate.
The Special Adviser further commended and appreciated the foundation in complementing the efforts of the Government and assured that the facilities would be used judiciously and the partnership be sustained.
Earlier in his remarks before the presentation,the Programme Manager of the Foundation,Dr Anjorin Ajibola, revealed that the foundation decided to make the donation of the computers to the department after a formal request made by the Special Adviser when they called on her on courtesy call in her office as partners..
He added that,besides the donation of the computers,a capacity building would also be offered to the staff of the Department on ICT after need assessment.
