The Tinubu new ministers

In what looks like a renewed focus on key areas of national development. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers.

The new ministers include Ambassador Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu, widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Sir Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, who will serve as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

The list also Include Oduwole, former Executive Secretary of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, niw named Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has been appointed Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, while Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi will take charge as Minister of Labour & Employment.

Idi Mukhtar Maiha has been assigned to the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development, a sector crucial for Nigeria’s agricultural economy.

Additionally, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata will serve as Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad will take on the role of Minister of State for Education.

In another key appointment, Sunday Dare, the former Minister of Sports, has been named Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.

This move has sparked speculation that he may be replacing Ajuri Ngelale, who resigned in September amid controversy over his tenure as Presidential spokesperson.

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of the newly appointed ministers seeing their roles as opportunities to serve the nation.
