About 2000 households have been rendered homeless as flood submerged
many communities of Talata Mafafa local government area of Zamfara State.
The most affected communities are Ruwan Gora, Morai, Makera, Talata Mafara town, among others where many properties, including livestock worth millions of naira were also destroyed.
The incident was confirmed by the Zamfara State Emergency Management Agency, ZEMA as they have visited the affected communities describing it very unfortunate..
The Director, Disaster Management and Control of the Board, Mr. Hassan Usman Dauran, assured the victims of the commitment of the state government to do the needful.
