The Public Complain Commission (PCC) has trained about 32 staff of the Commission on leadership and team Management to enhance productivity and service delivery in Kebbi State.

The commission’s Director of Investigation in the state, Mr Bashir Zakari, who declared the five-day workshop opened  in Birnin Kebbi, stressed the importance of leadership in any organisation to avoid confusion.

He noted that it was in realisation of this that PCC had to establish an effective programme to meet the needs of the public and the staff members.

Zakari also said that the gesture was aimed at  equipping the commission’s staffers with effective knowledge in order to enhance productivity in the discharge of their duties.

According to him, the aim of the training is to equip and enhance our knowledge in the discharge of our official duties in the office.

“We have 32 staffers, and we are expecting them, after the training, to go back to their offices to deliver on their mandate much more than before,” he said, adding”the commission was committed to addressing complaints by using Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), such as mediation and arbitration, among others.”

He called on the general public to report any complaint in the state to either the PVC office in Birnin Kebbi or any of the local government areas of the state instead of fighting, to ensure peaceful coexistence.
