The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has cautioned Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over frivolous Statement on media against Kaura led administration.
it therefore enlighten the people of Kebbi State on the various achievements recorded within one year of the administration
In a statement signed by its Spokesman, Isah Abubakar Assalafi made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi said the enlightenment came on the heel of the mischievous press statement Issued by the PDP State Chapter on the 14th June 2024 to the Kebbi State Workers titled “Take Heart and Bear with the Insensitivity of the Government of Kebbi State”.
According to him, “Our attention have been drawn to yet another fallacious misrepresentation by the Peoples Democratic Party in the s astate targeted at the present administration under the able Leadership of the Indefatigable and Quintessential Governor, His Excellency Dr Comrade Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu.
That’s why we want enlighten the Kebbi State people on the various achievements executed by the administration particularly on infrastructure development as well as upliftment of workers in the state.
He noted that the present administration has never defaulted in payment of salaries and allowances of the Kebbi State workers to all category of workers in the state and remain constant in the payment of pensions and gratuities of retired civil servants.
Similarly, he added that on the issue of salary advance payed by other states, it is pertinent to enlighten the good people of Kebbi State that the salary advance which is a loan on Instrumental payment scheme is not an ideal solution to cushion the effects of economic hardship because loan can never be the panacea for economic viability.
Assalafi however emphasised that, it is apparent that the PDP is still licking their wounds of heavy defeat during the 2023 general elections and their only leeway is to indulge in false press releases.
