The 2024 Hope Builders International Consult Limited Festival will provide a unique space for intergenerational dialogue, support young, resourceful, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The Executive Director of the Hope Builders Rev. Mathias Bodarm Yashim made announced this while addressing a World Press Conference in Kaduna as part of the preparation for the Festival scheduled to hold in November in Kaduna State.
This year’s annual program is: ‘Employability Skills Everywhere’.
Mathias who is also an Ashoka Fellow in Nigeria added that the program will provides an opportunity for the upcoming social entrepreneurs, in generating innovative and sustainable revenue sources.
He pointed out that “Our focus on employability skills, often referred to as “soft skills,”underscores the critical competencies that extend beyond academic knowledge and technical expertise”.
Mathias further said Hope Builder believes that through strategic partnerships and collaborations, we can create a meaningful and lasting impact, equipping our community members with the tools they need for success.
“By partnering with us, the partners will have the unique opportunity to showcase their commitment to community development, whereby to demonstrate their organization’s dedication to fostering youth development, sustainable progress, and economic empowerment within our communities”.
He also stated that partners will also have the opportunity to access a diverse audience engage of entrepreneurs, professionals, educators, students, and community members from across Kaduna State and beyond.
The Executive Director noted that partners will also use the Festival as a venue to Increase their brand visibility and recognition among key stakeholders, industry leaders, and decision-makers through extensive event promotion and marketing efforts.
“It is designed to be a dynamic platform that empowers individuals with the essential skills and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving job market” He said.
Mathias added it will also serve as a fora to align their brand with initiatives that make a tangible difference in society, such as interactive workshops, tech explorations, career connections, inspiring talks, and community engagement activities.
He pointed out that these foundational skills enable individuals to engage effectively in the workplace, adapt to changing environments, and interact positively with colleagues and clients.
