Katsina remembers late President ‘Yar’adua

Katsina people held a rememberance and prayers for late President Ummaru Musa ‘ ‘Yar’adua at the Banquet Hall Government House Katsina, Sunday , May 5.

The occasion was chaired by the State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda and was witnessed by Yar’adua family, Traditional Leaders, Ulamas and many political faithful of the Late President among which include former State Governor Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema.
Others are Emir of Daura Alhaji Dr. Umar Faruk Umar,  State and Federal Law Makers, State Deputy Governor Alhaji Farouk Lawal Jobe, Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Faskari, State Chief Judge Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar and members of the State  Executive Council among orders.
The occasion was the 14th Remembrance and Prayer Day and a book launch tittled “What Yar’adua Told and Taught Me” by Engineer Dr. Muttaqa Rabe Darma, a political disciple of the late President.

While commenting on tlate ‘Yar’adua’s political life, Senator Abdul Aziz Musa  ‘Yar’adua, the senator representing Katsina Central Senatorial District and younger brother to the late President said his late brother became an exceptional leader and an icon of democracy.
