The ex chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Malam Abdulrasheed Bawa returns to limelight last week when he paid Sallah homage to his paramount ruler, the Sarkin Kabin Jega Alhaji Muhammadu Arzika.
Abdurrashid was conferred the Tafidan Jega while Alhaji Ibrahim, his uncle, a former executive director Services of the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, was conferred with the Chigari title.
A statement signed by Mal Tijjani Isa on behalf of the the Yahaya Bawa Family and Friends said the visit was the first official engagement of the erstwhile EFCC Chairman since his installation as Tafidan Jega and his recent retirement from the EFCC.
The Sarkin Kabi Muhammadu Arzika welcomed the Tafida home and assured him of the courtesies demanded of his traditional title and the cooperation of the people of Jega and environs.
He reminded him that as Tafida his task shall be to guide the initiation and timely completion of all development projects within the land and ensure they touch the people positively.

In their individual remarks later, both Tafida Abdulrasheed and Chigari Ibrahim thanked the Sarkin Kabin Jega for the honour done to them and their entire family and assured him of unalloyed loyalty to him and members of the royal council.
