Kebbi sanitizes payroll system in LGCs, LEAs

Kebbi State Government through the office of Auditor General for local government Councils( LGC) and Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs) said it has senatised the Payroll of all staff in the Local Government Councils and the local government education authorities in the state.

Newly confirmed Auditor General for Local Government and local government education authorities,  Faruku B. Muhammad a,k.a. Faruku Auditor disclosed this yesterday to newsmen over the development in his office in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State.

 ” Yes before coming as Auditor General,  there was problem of ghost workers in local government Councils and local government education authorities but, now this problems were all solved” Said Faruku.

” We despatched our staff to all the twenty one local government Councils to verify the authenticity of each local government,  LGEAs staffs regarding his/her credentials or promotion ” he added,

According to him,  his office with the cooperation of workers has cleared all sorts of ghost syndrome in the Payroll of the entire local government Councils and LGEAs in Kebbi State.

 While appreciating Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu for his appointment as the substantive Auditor General for local government,  Faruku assured the governor of justifying the conference reposed on him.

He called on workers in the LGAs and LGEAs for continuos support to the Kauran Gwandu led administration in its efforts to make the lives of Kebbi State people better particularly the Local government workforce.
