ALICE GOMBWER FOUNDATION has conferred an award to Hon Sa’idu Idris Dibis, Special Assistant on sports development to Governor UBS Sani of Kaduna State for his contribution towards the development of sports and using it to foster unity and peace amongst youths in Kaduna State.
The Foundation is Based in Kaduna and has offices in Lagos, Abuja and in the United States.
It was established in the memory of their late mother in 2011, She used sports
particularly basketball and football, to unite people and preach peace.
during her lifetime.
She was a mother of six children, five male and one female who took the bold step to establish the foundation .
One of the Board of Trustees Abdulmajid Ismail a staff with Kaduna State Government called their attention to the wonderful activities of the Special Assistant to Governor Uba Sani in the last three months and realised that he really deserves all form of supports to bring back the glory of sport in Kaduna.
The Foundation also appreciate the Gov of Kaduna Uba Sani for establishing the Office of Special Assistant on Sport Matters for the first time to support the Ministry of Sports Development.
