Katsina Hajj 2024: Registration closed

The Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the closure of the 2024 hajj registration exercise and urged the 2024 intending Pilgrims  especially those who register with the board and fully paid their Hajj fare to submit their E-Passport between now and the end of this month.

The board said the Saudi authorities are set to commenced issuance of visas from March 1, 2024.

The Executive Director of the board,  Alhaji Yunusa Abdullahi Dankama disclosed this to newsmen in his office during an interview and advised intending pilgrims who deposited 3 to 4.5 million Naira to make their balance ready before Feb 29, 2024.

A statement signed and issued by the Alh Badaru Bello Karofi, Public Relations Officer. Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Officer said the Executive Director spoke on the preparations of the board in respect of the 2024 Hajj Operation, assured the pilgrims that Katsina State Government under the leadership of Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda PhD is committed towards the welfare of the state pilgrims.

He added that during their recent free Hajj visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the board had secured a befitting accomodations and caterers who will serve the pilgrims during the 2024 Hajj rituals.

Alhaji Yunusa Abdullahi Dankama further said the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON allocated 4,500 Hajj slots to Katsina State out of which over 50 percent of the seat are already  registered.
