FUDMA  Assists Senator Yar’adua

The Federal University, Dutsinma in Katsina State has pledged to assist Sen Abduaziz Musa ‘Yar’ adua over his concern on concern on the recent abduction of students of the University and payment of registration fees to students of various tertiary institutions.

The pledge was made by the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA Professor Armaya’u Bichi when he received Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua on a courtesy visit in his office.

Professor Armaya’u Bichi explained that the concern shown by the Senator on the recent abduction of students of the University can not be over emphasise.

Prof Bichi emphasised the commitment of the University to render possible assistance free of charge to the senator’s planned training program for youth, particularly on Agriculture and Livestock production.

He reiterated the University’s readiness to train the students in that regard and even planned to serve them with certificates that would pave them opportunity to train others.

Earlier, the Senator said he was in the University to extend his appreciation over promotion of Dr. Umar Mamman to Associate Professor by the University.

The Senator also appreciated the efforts of the VC for rebranding the University and the subsidy to students while registration as well as thanking the VC for pledging to render him assistance free of charge on his proposed training program.

Also speaking, Associate Professor Umar Mamman thanked the Senator on his unscheduled visit and his concern on education which led to rendering assistance to students to settle registration fees.

The Senator was accompanied by Alhaji Tanimu Garba Gwarjo,  MD KASSAROMA Engineer Sirajo Yazid Abukur, Major Yahaya Rimi and S A to the State Governor Aminu Maigoro

Others include Chairman APC D/ma LGA and other Special Assistants to the Sentor
