Gov Dikko mouns KTSTA accident victims

The Governor of Katsina State has condoled the families and the management of the Katsina State Transport Authority, KTSTA over

the death of some commuters in a road accident involving a vehicle belonging to the KTSTA along Kaduna -Abuja road.

Governor Dikko conveyed his sympathies in a statement released on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibrahim Kaula.

The incident involved an 18-seater KTSTA bus traveling from Kankara Local Government Area to Abuja.  The accident was a result of ongoing repairs on the Kaduna/Abuja highway, which necessitated traffic diversions in some locations.

“Regrettably, seven lives, including two children and the bus driver, were lost at the scene of the accident,” stated Governor Radda.

Expressing deep sympathy, the governor stood in solidarity with the bereaved families and the people of the state during this challenging time.

He offered prayers for the departed souls and sought solace from Allah SWT, asking for their rest in Jannatul Firdaus.

Governor Radda reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of its citizens and pledged to work diligently to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.

In addition, Governor Radda extended condolences to Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, over the passing of his Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy, Malam Isa Gusau. He conveyed heartfelt thoughts, stating, “The loss of Malam Gusau was deeply felt, and our thoughts are with the Borno State Government and the family of the departed.”
