Christmas Eve Massacre: Protest turns violent in Plateau

The Christmas Eve massacre in Plateau State has continue to generate more tension and  capabilities as members of Bokkos communities went on a protest that culminated in the burning of the District Head office and residence.

The protesters, mostly women accused the District Head of Bokkos, Michal Monday Adanchi.

Dozens of women protesting the recent killings in Plateau State have burned down the house of the District Head of Bokkos town in Bokkos Local Government Area , Michal Monday Adanchi following the arrest of some members of the community for their alleged involvement in the recent killings in the area.

A source told journalists that the incident which happened today. Friday said,  “The incident began at the police station where they expressed their anger over the arrest of some members of the community,” the source said.

“After leaving the police station, they proceeded to the house of the traditional ruler, protesting that he was a sellout. A few minutes after reaching the house, they set it ablaze
