Senator Abdul’Aziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central Zone has commiserated and condole with Daddarar Liman community of’Yan Gayya Ward in Jibia local government area over the recent bandits.attack.
The Senator through one of his aides Alhaji Umar Faruk AK expressed shock and condemned the incident that led to the killings of eleven persons and leaving some with injuries at day light.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and quick recovery for the injured.
Alhaji Umar Farouk, who led a delegation for the condolence on behalf of the Senator at Daddarar Liman said the Senator was highly disturbed when the news of the incident reached him.
He also pointed out that being the Chairman Senate Committee on Army, the Senator immediately sat with Chief of Army Staff intimating him on the recent banditry on communities of Jibia, Kurfi and Safana local government areas, expressing hope for tighter action against insecurity.
Umar AK however presented bags of rice with N20,000 each to families of the 11 deceased and N20,000 to each of the injured victims.
The Chairman of Jibia Local Government Council Alhaji Sabi’u Metan accompanied by APC Chairman of the area and the local govt coordinator to the Senator, as well as the Village Head of Daddarar Liman received the delegation.
Chairman of the local council Alhaji Sabi’u Metan acknowledged the concern shown by the Senator, particularly his ups and downs towards curbing insecurity not only in his political zone, but the country at large.
While thanking the Senator for the philanthropic gesture, the Chairman prayed for his success in all endeavours.
The Village Head of Daddarar Liman of ‘Yangayya Ward expressed appreciation, saying that they are all aware of Senator Abdul’Aziz Musa Yar’adua’s efforts on anything positive In his constituents and prayed Allah to continue guiding him in all his undertakings.
It would be recall that on Saturday the 23rd December, 2023, Bandits attacked communities of ‘Yangayya Ward in Jibia local government area, killed eleven people, some victims escaped with injuries, while those abducted were also said to have been killed by the abductors.
