The member representing Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency in Katsina State, Hon Abdullahi Aliyu has splashed N32.5 million in scholarships to 1,895 needy students on Saturday.

Each university undergraduate and those studying at the Higher National Diploma level received N20,000 while beneficiaries studying at the National Certificate of Education and National Diploma levels got N15,000 each.
Alhaji Samaila Adamu, chairman of the scholarship committee, said at the flag-off in Musawa that the gesture was facilitated and implemented by the Musawa Education Committee saying
“2,364 students applied for the scholarships, but only 1,895 qualified.
“The scholarship has no political consideration as all qualified students benefitted,’’ he said.
