Sen. Yar’adua Commiserates, pledges assistance to flood victims

Senator Abdulaziz Musa ‘Yar’adua has expressed willingness to assist the victims of the recent flood disaster around Sabuwar Unguwa Quarters in Katsina metropolis.

He directed the Councillor representing the Ward and the Ward Head to make a fresh list of all victims affected and the nature of damages for onward assistance

The Senator who on Saturday paid physical house to house visit to sympathise with the victims, expressed shock on seeing the collapsed buildings caused by the flood.

The Councillor representing Wakilin Kudu 3 Abdullahi Yusuf on behalf of the Local Council Chairman Aminu Ashiru conducted the Senator round the affected areas.

Senator Yar’adua however visited the families that lost their children following the recent flood around the area. He prayed for the repose of souls of their love ones.

All the victims so far visited expressed satisfaction and even described the Senator’s visit as part of the footprint of his lineage.

Speaking on behalf of the community visited, Alhaji Sani Nayalli described the visit as the first time in history for a serving Senator to visit them for either commiseration, sympathy or condolence other than Senator Yar’adua, and pledged to go alongside with his policies and programmes.

On his part, the Ward Head of Sabuwar Unguwa registered his appreciation for the visit and prayed for his successes in all his endeavors.

In another development, Senator Abdul’Aziz Musa Yar’adua has paid condolence visit at Kerau and Kofar Sauri Quarters where he prayed for the repose of the sole of the deceased.

The Senator was accompanied by some of his closed associates that include Alhaji Tanimu Garba Gwarjo, Alhaji Ahmad Bello Charanchi, Alhaji Umaru AK and Alhaji Dahiru Abu Darma among others.
