The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina has reopened its registration portal, effective from Monday 3rd July, 2023, for candidates who sat for the year 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) but could not register or attend the Post-UTME Aptitude Test recently conducted by the University.
This was contained in notice of invitation signed the university Registrar, Muhammad Yusuf Abubakar dated July, 2023.
To qualify for the aptitude test candidates must make UMYU their first choice institution and satisfy all the admission requirements for their programme of choice.
Similarly direct entry applicants who could not register for the screening are also invited to register.
The registration portal will be closed on Thursday, 20th July, 2023 while the aptitude test is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 22nd July, 2023.

Registered UTME candidates are to come along with photocopies of their Post-UTME registration slip, JAMB registration slip and O’Level result(s) and submit same at the venue of the aptitude test.
Direct Entry candidates are to also submit the photocopies of their JAMB registration Slip, O‘Level results and the Direct Entry Online Screening Slip to the office of the Register.
