Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former governor of Kano State has run to
a High Court in Kano seeking to restrain the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from probing him.
He wants an order protecting him from EFCC’s investigation of videos, which showed him allegedly receiving stacks of dollars from a contractor.
The Kano House of Assembly, in response to the outrage, constituted a committee to investigate the alleged bribery but the committee is yet to submit its report.
