Gov Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State has sacked all political appointees with effect from today, (Tuesday).
This is contained in a statement signed and issued by Arch. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa final, FCIB Secretary to Government of State on Tuesday.
The statement reads in part, “His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina state, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Ph.D., has with effect from today dissolved all political appointments.
“To this end, the governor has directed all political appointees to hand over affairs of their offices to the most senior director in their MDAs.
“However, the directive has exempted Pilgrims Welfare Board which will continue as a committee until the completion of 2023 Hajj exercise.
”His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda expressed appreciation to the dissolved appointees for their contributions to Katsina State. “
