Sen Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi has lost his mother – in lwaw, Hajiya Binta Magaji,the wife of Ambassador Magaji Mohammed.
Hajiya Binta Magaji died Thursday night after a protracted Illness in Kaduna at the age of 75. She is survived by ten children, five males and five females.
Among her children is Murtaka Magaji Mohammed, Asia, Zainab, Asma’u, Maryam, A’Isha, Abdullahi Gidado, Muhammadu Sani and Muhammadu Sada.
Recall that Asma’ u is the wife of Sen Makarfi and was the first lady of Kaduna State between 1999 and 2007.
Late Ambassador Magaji was a seasoned bureaucrat and prominent politician in Katsina State. He contested for governorship of Katsina State under the defunct NRC, UNCP and PDP.
He was a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Nigeria’s ambassador to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Relations and friends have been trooping to the residence of deceased. at Marnona Street, Unguwan Sarki for condolences to the family.
