The Senator elect for Katsina Central, Colonel Abdul’Aziz Musa Yar’adua Rtd has charged Islamiyya schools to ensure instilling Islamic discipline for students.as it will creat room for producing quality and talented future leaders in the society.
Senator Yar’adua gave the charge in a message to the annual recitation of Qur’an and special prayers Session for the Senator elect by some select Islamiyya Schools organised by the State Chapter of the National Association for the Development of Islamiyya schools held in Katsina.
Senator Yar’adua, who was represented at the event by his close associates Alhaji Tinimu Gwarjo and Alhaji Umar Farooq AK respectively stressed the need for officials of the Association to continue monitoring the style of representation of the Senator and give advices where necessary.
They described Yar’adua as humble, easy-going and very committed to important issues as well as redeemer of promises.
The delegation however presented a cash donation from the Senator to the Association.
Earlier, the National Public Relations Officer of the Association Ustaz Sani Yunusa Mani spoke extensively on how the Association was established in the state.
Ustaz Sani Yunusa, who is also the State Chairman of Association said about Thirty Islamiyya schools from across the state are participating in the annual event.
He described Senator Yar’adua as a unique politician, who was first in history that goes round his constituency to thank electorates for their good role in the 2023 general election.
Ustaz Sani therefore pointed out that the Association has regarded Senator Yar’adua as role model to other politicians hence included in this year’s prayer session.
