The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar said he was not aware of any reconciliatory moves by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar announced this in a press conference, Thursday.
Recall that the president-elect said that he would set up a committee to meet with Atiku, Peter Obi and other aggrieved presidential candidates.
The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu had claimed in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Wednesday.that the committee was set up by the ruling party to resolve their displeasure and ensure all parties involved work together with Tinubu, for the growth of Nigeria.
But Atiku, however, on Thursday in a press conference in Abuja, when asked if some governors elected on the platform of the APC visited him and they were turned back, said he is not aware of any such moves.
The former vice president further stated that he was at home all day and was not aware of any governor coming around
He said, “Well, I am really not aware of that. I was home all day today I was not aware of any governor coming to see me.
